OUR BACKGROUND

Having started as Dean's Village Store in 1960, this spot has been under many changes. 20 or so years ago becoming The Monona Bait and Ice Cream shop, serving the city of Monona for quite some time. We offer delicious ice cream from Babcock Hall and Sassy Cow creamery, candy and treats galore, a variety of home-cooked food, and bait. We are conveniently located on the bike path that takes you around the beautiful Lake Monona, and we are also across from Schluter Park!
